The Shadow Chaser

RECENT NEWS

Welcome to my speck of existence in the ether of the internet. Here you will find information about me, my works of writing, some free samples, as well as updates regarding the current state of my writing career. Feel free to stay a while and browse around. Drop me a line if you have something to share.

6/1/08 - Wonderful news! First, my second book, The Bringer of War will be available at GenCon Indy this year. In addition, I will have a short story anthology that I am editing and publishing available at that point. Also, at GenCon, I am going to be on panels! The last piece of news is that The Edge of Propinquity just let me know that they want to publish one of my short stories! It should be available in an upcoming issue.

2/12/08 - I have updated the schedule tab with a schedule for conventions for this year. The big news is that I will be able to go to MarsCon! I am looking forward to it! Also, I am working on a couple of projects that will hopefully be ready by GenCon this year. Stay tuned!

10/26/07 - So this is going up a bit later than I intended. For those of you who are curious about what I do at work, I have a link to a blog entry I wrote for work. As a warning, it is very technical.

9/10/07 - I added a page for pictures and uploaded my shots from my recent Mount Rainier summit attempt. Enjoy!

8/27/07 - This site has been very stagnant as of late, but it is a continuous endeavor. Currently, I would like to share that my second book has been written and edited - hopefully a publisher and/or agent will be found soon. Also, I have a few shorts out for possible publication. Finally, two new samples are added to my brand new page of free stuff!

1/15/07 – I finally managed to make the time to update my web page. Much has happened since I last made an update. The most substantial of changes involved a move across half the country and a change of job as a result. I am now officially a writer for a living, just not writing novels for a living yet. I spent some time thinking about this, and this website is going to remain somewhat static. Obviously I will update it as I get publication news and the like, but otherwise, I will make few updates. I will, however, be making more frequent updates on my Live Journal. In addition, that is where I am sharing my Serial novel experiment.

8/17/06 - Well, it has been too long since my last update. I have since attended several conventions (Anime Boston, CONvergence, WesterCon, GenCon Indy) which were all great opportunities for fun and for the business aspect of my writing career. In fact, I am ready to go back to GenCon. My second novel is still looking for a home with an agent who will find a publisher, while sales of the first one stay strong. In addition, my free Serial Novel is still coming along at almost forty story sections. I also use that journal to provide more in depth updates, so keep an eye on it for that reason as well. I am in the midst of some minor tinkering with this site right now, and might do some more in depth updates in the future. Stay tuned!

3/6/06 - For anyone who didn't know, I was at MarsCon this weekend, which was an AMAZING and wonderful convention! So far, it is the most fun I have had at a convention. A large part of that is due to the terrific entertainment talents of all the Dementia Radio artists that were there. The organizers of the convention were gracious enough to let me set up shop in exchange for being on a few panels, so I was ecstatic. In addition, thanks to my very energetic new publicist (an amusing story in and of itself), I was interviewed on Dementia Radio to talk about how much butt my book kicks. If you want to hear that story, ask me about it! Anyways, MarsCon was great! I need to go to more cons!

2/5/06 - I redesigned my web page a little bit. If you look around you should see the changes. Nothing major at his point. The biggest news is that I have started writing a serial story and you can find it at my Live Journal site. Soon I should have the prologue to my second novel, tentatively called "The Bringer of War" up on its own page. Stay tuned!
